Saturday evening

This is the view from my backyard at this time of the day.

My stitcher´s Angel swap partner lives in Austria.  She has received what I made for her so I am going to show you what I did. Go over and see what she is doing, she is very talented.

And I have a finish :) I know you probably won´t believe it *LOL* but I have a proof, see:

I even handquilted it to get some practice.  I wanted a primitive look on it which I think I managed. It is from the book Prairie children and their quilts which many of you know.

So to you girls who told me to get sewing I did what you said *LOL*

All the way from Brazil

My Stitcher´s Angel is living in Brazil, see what she made and sent to me, isn´t it cute?

Although I haven´t been sewing I couldn´t resist and ordered these fabrics :) 

 

 

 

...and bought these cupboards so I could tidy up my sewing room.  I can tell you that the sewing room looks like a new one, much more inviting, now I want to sew :) so maybe you will see something new  in the next  few weeks, but you never know!

On that day my "little" boy was born, and that makes him 22yrs old today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DEAR, DEAR SON, YOU CAN ALWAYS MAKE ME SMILE.

This is what I have been doing when I have not been planting flowers in my GFG.  I am not going to show any more. I plan to send this on Monday to my Stitching Angel partner.  As this project is done I have to begin on the SSCS swap, I haven´t decided yet what to do but that will come!

 I just hope she will like this.  I always find it difficult to choose what to do  and what colour to use so it will fit my partner´s taste.
